WATER COOLED  BRAKES

Only CoolForce brakes offer a removable composite water jacket insert to reduce lifecycle costs by simplifying field maintenance and rebuilds.

CoolForce brakes have the same torque rating and thermal performance of traditional water-cooled brakes, but their innovative composite jacket design eliminates time-consuming weld repair and re-machining of the interior features of the water jacket. Simply remove the worn insert, and replace it. The replaceable insert also eliminates corrosion resulting from contact of the copper backing plate with the cast iron supporting structure inside the water jacket.

In most circumstances, we can retrofit your existing water-cooled brakes with our composite water jacket inserts. That means all of your water-cooled brakes can deliver simpler, faster and lower-cost water jacket rebuilds going forward.
